I’m SUPER glad that comments took a turn because I didn’t let them get away. I was going to wear them in secret--and not post any WIW’s in them. I hear many of you on the 80’s flashbacks but I never got to own floral pants back in the day I love that they are washed out and I think they are going to be easier for me to wear than optic white because I’m a magnet to dirt and grime. While the print is a little sweet, it is sweet in kind of a distressed way. I love them. #1 is so in tune with the “all white” look for summer. The utility vest is tough enough to stop the outfit looking too “pretty”, and using a tee is definitely the right idea - you could wear an even plainer style of white knit top here for added toughness. I especially like the shooties (relative to the boots) for their modern and sophisticated feel. And the pants fit you beautifully!<br /> Minor proportion tweaking: I would substitute a sleeveless top for the tee, to avoid the cap sleeves, as you wear sleeveless so well and it is such a flattering silhouette on you. (Sleeveless also does not have the “young” associations that cap sleeves do, if you want to steer clear of “teenage” styles.) I see that the boots are about that color but with light reflecting they read lighter--just meaning, you could go darker for footwear and look more grounded.
