I am ok with side of the bra exposure. These holes are large enough that they show a large amount of the cup.

Does anyone make a lightweight meshy bandeau?

The thought of extra spandex on top of the bra gives me pause. I run super hot.

Agree with Janet and Vildy, if it fits everywhere else you could wear a bandeau or tank top underneath. Or what about a bra that coordinates?

Agree with Janet that bandeau solution seems best - plus a very modern way to layer.

Could you wear a little coordinating bandeau under it? I’ve done that in the past with summer dresses and tops with too-deep armholes (and/or a too deep neckline or wrap front).

Thank you! Alas, I'll have to pass on it. The shoulder has gathers and there is a little room in the bust but not much.

I’ve had the exact alterations Karen mentions done numerous times, since I have a short torso for my height. Taking up the shoulders often does the trick, but sometimes if there is extra room in the chest, a little adjustment there helps too.

For quick and easy, look at the seams from bottom of arm to waist. If you have extra room in the bust, you might be able to take it in there, which would raise the bottom of the armhole a bit. Put it on inside out and safety pin it to see if it gets you where you need. If the seam is top stitched or the armhole is faced it is probably best for some one with sewing skills.

Another place to look is raising the shoulder seam, which would also raise the waist, neckline and hem.

Very cute dress!

I think you hike it up at the shoulders - but this could change how the bust fits, if there are darts, etc. I'm not sure that you can do it with the style you show. It looks like there are gathers at the shoulder.

It is a denim shift that fits well everywhere but the armholes.
