I have the Madewell ones, not because I thought the style would look good on me but because I'll try on ANYTHING that comes in heavy white denim, and they were marked way way down at NR. Never thought they'd be so versatile so comfortable, so ...yes...flattering. They're at least as easy to style as binkle's link shows. Here are some wide legged cropped trousers from the late 80s.  You can't see the length.  They are mid calf.  Or were.  :(   My favourite pants of all time. I've read all the reviews I can find of both, and will probably end up trying both the Kamms and the Everlanes, since pant fit is so idiosyncratic, I honestly don't know which one will work better (although I vastly prefer 100% cotton over stretch cotton, so that may end up being the deciding factor).  You might also want to take a look at the designer Caron Callahan -- she's got a lot of wide leg crops, very similar to the Kamm pants. Bijou I also am attracted to them because I think they are timeless.  Jesse Kamm has been making these pants for 10 years.  How did I not know about them?  I am trying to buy pieces of clothing that are trendless. Kkards I agree that the tobacco colour looks much better in the photo.  I also really like that colour. La Ped the initial cost is high but I do plan on wearing the pants a long time.  I only take a few pairs of bottoms with me when I travel so they have to earn their keep.  The Everlane ones might work in washed black but I would always pine for the others. I do agree that height is needed (I am 5 feet and 7.5 inches). The Everlane don't get the same reviews.  Also I am not as fond of the colours.
