It's a strange mix. I think the pleats would work if the skirt were fuller, but they just look odd combined with the cut it has. I have that one striped shirt from Boden that's great, but nothing else worked out for me either so far. Maybe I should stop trying. It's just that I love the colors and prints they have. I do like the color and the stripes and the length is good too, but the pleats on the waistband just look bad, especially in the back. And the fabric is fairly thin, so visible muffin top and all. </p> <p>@Harmonica<br /> The denim one has less stretch, so it might be different. And I think this cut would be better for someone with less hips and rear, the pleats might work better then. It's not a full skirt, but if the fit works out I can imagine wearing this with absolutely everything on top. I also like that this is not solid white, slightly a line and cotton.
