KM, thank you for asking. I try to replace my Ponte pants each year and need a slim but not tight pair to tuck into boots. I like the AT pair, especially for the length. Do they pill?

I bought these from Loft. I can't say anything about how they wear because I haven't worn them yet! I bought them because I liked the styling, but I sized up because I don't like really skinny.

I love both of my EFs and my ATs. they are 5 pocket style that can. Be dressed up or down. They work with boots, booties, flats, and heels. I also have the NYDJs ,but I find they fit not like a thick legging, and only wear them with long tunic style tops. You might also look at the loft, I recall seeing a few different styles there earlier this year

My go to black work trousers are a straight cut ponte from Laura (Canada) that I picked up 3 months ago. They are straight but not tight fitting. They have a distinctive seam with top stitching down the front which is a nice detail. I find they bag out at the knee just a little after 4-5 wears, but after washing (inside out, regular wash, hang to dry) they snap right back into shape. I like the heavy weight and soft, thick drape very much.

There are a bunch of past threads on ponte pants - in fact, I just searched to try to find a similar question asked earlier this month, iirc, and there are so many results I can't find it! I've seen nice ones from NYDJ, AT and Loft, and several of the mall department store brands - Macy's, JC Penney, and Kut from the Kloth at Nordstrom.

Several of you have mentioned wearing ponte pants as a good option for cold weather. I haven't seen any appealing ones in my usual shopping sites, so was wondering if you have any recommendations? Ideally I'd like something a bit dressier than just leggings (those seem easier to come by); I'm open to different fits (skinny, slim-straight leg, even bootcut....)

Thanks in advance!
