My impression is that manufacturers will ride out this sleeve trend as long as they can because they are cheaper to produce than a properly set sleeve. Slim bottoms, and long sleeved black tees look best with them. I often team it up this way. That said, while mine gets more wear simply because it's been my only sweater that fits (and I have no cardigans or casual warm jackets) for a couple of years, it is also comfy and I think looks good enough to hang on to.
