Khris, that made me totally laugh!

I've played with it a little, but haven't had a lot of luck. I'm sure if I sat my 6 year old down and let him play around with it for a while, he could show me all kinds of cool stuff!

I haven't been able to figure it out enough to even use it. (But take that with a grain of salt because I can't figure out the coffee maker, the food processor, the blue ray player, one day I couldn't remember how to turn off my parking break........)

I'm surprised to hear you say that, Angie. My own Polyvore sets have always been bare bones and snooze inducing, but I used to love your MOTG Polyvores. Remember the one where you matched a snack to each outfit? Hee hee. I'm sorry the program was a bear to use for you - I figured it was just me!

alaskagirl - ylf members tend to be fairly visual. I can't always run to the mall and take a picture of an outfit I'm considering, so for me, Polyvore is great. I can locate the items in the Polyvore database or "clip them" myself, and then mock up an outfit for approval.

Here are some of the older ones I've done, based on YLF MOTG formulas:
* http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=13109687
* http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=13100139

So, I don't really do the multi-layered collages that some folks seem to be so adept at, but it gets the job done for me.

I agree - not very user friendly at all - I tried creating a polyvore the other day and it was painful.

Angie I love the blog just the way it is so your striving for perfection is working perfectly well to me!

I have personally found polyvore positively wretched to use. I've used them in some of my formula posts and the programme is a nightmare. There is my not so humble opinion

I guess I do strive for perfection in the blog posts, but as a casual scrap book - polyvore could be useful.

How does it work? I saw Mamapicklejuice used it to catalog her boot collection. That seems like a great way to keep track of current items. Is it easy? Do others use it for this purpose, or just for creating outfits? I see an addiction brewing...
