He still wears them a fair amount, but not like I do. </p> <p>I think part of it is that I really do have sensitive eyes, and am one of a percentage of people who sneeze when they look at the sun (or eat a strong mint!) But, that is really all just an excuse for insane spending on glasses! </p> <p>I have an eye appointment this week, so it will be interesting if she suggests a prescription lens. Fortunately I don't tend to loose sunglasses and often have them 5 years or more. I won't compromise on the quality of the lens after having eye surgery a few years ago. My everyday pair are a very dark lens pair of Maui Jims. My eye surgeon said they make the best polarized lens in the business (that was a few years back though). A second pair of Bolles, for running only, also polarized.
