In fact, shoes with a lot of arch shaping built in like Birks are very uncomfortable for me! </p> <p>Like you, Angie, the shape of my foot works well with a pointed toe. The styles can skew a little too dainty for my particular vibe, but that’s why I usually look for a version with a darker color or a detail that edges them up. I think the metallic finish does that for me!</p> <p>It looks like there is only one pair left in my size, but it’s not a need, and I am going to let the idea stew, as I have been trying to do more lately. Drooling. I have my one pair of pointed-toe flats (in Find below) that I’ve worn a LOT, even though I typically go straight from boots to open-toe sandals when the seasons change. They’ve ended up being more wearable and versatile than I expected. </p> <p>This particular pair reminds me of some I had in the early days of YLF. I think they were Jeffrey Campbell and had that iridescent finish, but they were a sort of gladiator style that was not super comfortable and I wore them infrequently. </p> <p>I wish these were less expensive. I love a pointed-toe flat regardless of trend (not a big fan of a round toe), so these are timeless for me. I don’t know if I’ll try them but they are so cute I wanted to share.
