No kicks or strikes in the sports version, and very few in the street fight version. What I love about it is that it was designed for the smaller, weaker, less athletic person to defend against a larger, stronger, more athletic attacker. </p> <p>Ummlila, yes, you can stand on those balls. It takes practice, great awareness of your center of gravity, and a very solid core. I've been looking at pictures and reading and thinking about what I might wear in some other reality, but my current reality is that two months ago, jiu-jitsu came into my life and completely took over. I've been wearing white gi pants and a black long-sleeved T-shirt six days a week. Clean, of course :-)<br /> So, this was me this morning, balancing on the ball. I can't stand up on it yet, but the day is coming, hehe. No makeup, no shoes, no jewelry, just fun all around. </p>
