Thanks, all! Man, I love this place. It never would have occurred to me on my own to look in the men's department! I can't wait til the snow clears so I can do some damage!

Fellow plus size here. Most of my best belts have been from the mens department, it's my choice for simple wear-with-pant belts. I've done well at Nordstom Rack. I like leather so the quality is way better than anything I've found in women's plus sizes. I have gotten fashiony belts from Lane Bryant and Torrid but they either don't last long or I get tired of them,

I was also going to say to try the men's department. I have some men's belts that are favorites for low rise jeans

I have found Target has a nice selection of larger size belts. Also, a plus size store like Avenue or Lane Bryant might be good to check. For the more conservative belts you might also be able to wear men's belts, which are probably available in longer lengths.

Target and WallyWorld have XXLs. Also you can always have something made to your specs on etsy.

Congratulations on your new job!

Try men's departments for simple belts. I've had good luck finding men's belts at discounters like TJMaxx.

Hello, all! I'm starting a new job (my first one in more than 10 years that doesn't require me to wear scrubs!) at the end of February. I've studied the posts here and know I need to create a "work capsule," so I've invested in some skirts and wool slacks from Ann Taylor, some no-iron blouses and a few pairs of shoes to get me started. I'm having a difficult time finding belts that are appropriate and fit, though. I can find funky casual belts in a variety of sizes, but I'm looking for simple navy, black and oxblood belts that I can wear with the (somewhat conservative) officewear wardrobe I'm collecting. XL belts at the department stores that suffice for wearing with dresses don't quite make it around the circumference of the pants where I'm wearing them. Any guidance?
