Generally i'd treat jeggings as leggings. I think for the skinny jeans look you need something a bit thicker x

though she isnt a plus-sized gal, Erin from Work With What You've Got sports the jeggings fairly frequently. she rarely wears actual jeans, instead wearing jeggings as though they were jeans. since they are tighter, she often goes for looser, more billowy tops, though not necessarily as long as a tunic. you might want to check out her blog for inspiration...

It's probably all in your head, BlondeAmbition. But you have to feel confident in what you wear, and if you feel best in black leggings, wear black leggings! You don't have to wear *every* trend. As long as you're wearing your denim leggings in the same manner as your black leggings, you should be okay.

I know I'm probably not doing it right but my jean leggings don't look right with my tunics. I'm basically only comfortable in black leggings with tunics and boots. I think it's probably just a matter of self confidence.

You wear them under tunics and dresses, just like regular leggings. I don't wear jeggings, but I have been wearing skinny jeans non-stop this winter (with boots) and my tunic collection has grown out of necessity! I feel awfully unproportioned and exposed when I wear skinnies sans tunic, but a tunic provides the modesty and proportion that I need and want.

I'd treat all tapered pant styles the same -- wear them with a dress or tunic. It's the most flattering look.

I love my black leggings, I wear them under tunics and dresses, and skirts, and with boots.

I'd like to venture on to jeggings, I even bought a pair. But I'm not sure what to do with them. Do I wear them the same way? I'm plus sized and I'm a little afraid to sport the skinny jean look, how do I wear jean leggings fashionably?
