I just ordered Jenava's suggestion of foot petals &amp; will try them; if they don't work, back go the wedges. I tried fashion tape &amp; my toes "stick" in place but not sure they will stay &amp; it all seems like too much trouble &amp; may have to accept like you that I can't wear this type of sandal no matter what; I have tried many pairs in the past &amp; the toes always slide forward. Maybe ankle straps will solve the problem.</p> <p>Funny story: I was on a second date &amp; he said "your sandals are too small" &amp; I was mortified! I need ankle straps on all my sandals, and I've just accepted that. I have a pair of flat strappy sandals that have straps like those. They were super comfy at the begining, but now the leather's stretched and are too wide... I like foot petals for a ball-of-foot pad that helps the foot from slipping forward. These can be used in any shoes, sandals or otherwise.
