Thanks Lemonade for the advice. I just ordered Jenava's suggestion of foot petals & will try them; if they don't work, back go the wedges. I tried fashion tape & my toes "stick" in place but not sure they will stay & it all seems like too much trouble & may have to accept like you that I can't wear this type of sandal no matter what; I have tried many pairs in the past & the toes always slide forward. Maybe ankle straps will solve the problem.

Funny story: I was on a second date & he said "your sandals are too small" & I was mortified! No more third date

This sort of sandal doesn't work on my narrow feet either. I need ankle straps on all my sandals, and I've just accepted that. I have a pair of flat strappy sandals that have straps like those. They were super comfy at the begining, but now the leather's stretched and are too wide... You can try what Jenava said, but were I you I'd try find a better choice for your narrow feet.

Ah, yes, I have a similar issue with a similar shoe, and the foot petal completely solved the problem for me.

This is the one:

Thanks Jenava for the suggestion of foot petals.

I purchased these wedge sandals from Land's End & REALLY want them to work because the wedge is only 3" & very hard to find one under 4" this year. I have tried on dozens, but because my foot is so narrow, it never really fits tight in any shoes, sandals, etc.

The problem is "toes hanging over the top of the sandal when I walk" & it drives me so crazy that I may give up unless I can find something to prevent the slipping forward.

What shoes are you trying to pad and how are the slipping? I like foot petals for a ball-of-foot pad that helps the foot from slipping forward. These can be used in any shoes, sandals or otherwise. This brand has many other good pad options as well.
