Not many stylish options out there. I know of one Belgian designer who specializes in beautiful canes, but they are very expensive. Also: ergonomics are extremely important. The way the handles are shaped, for example, different people will find different shapes more comfortable, some designs can even cause extra discomfort or pain, etc. </p> <p></p> <p>I am closing this week's thread. In fact, there's one in a tony suburb that can't use the word Goodwill anywhere in the signage outside the store - the zoning/town rules wouldn't allow them to open in the downtown area unless they called themselves something else and didn't use 'Goodwill' or 'thrift'.
