This struck a chord with me as back when I was deficient in magnesium (before I started supplementing) when I would spend time outdoors, I'd always notice a slight hydrogen peroxide smell from my hair. I thought it was really odd and never realized why. When I started taking magnesium, it went away but I only now realized the potential cause.
