I can't get a link to it, but maybe someone else can. Suggestions include letting the sweater rest at least 24 hours between wearings, treating sweaters once a year with lanolin after washing to keep fibers smooth, and using a pumice stone to remove pills. Pulling them off by hand, shaving and using sandpaper can damage the yarn. We had a family member with bleeding pustules that the dermatologist couldn't figure out. <br />Started to calm down whenever away from home. Had been advised years ago to avoid toilet paper and just use wipes. No wipes when away. Then I read an article about this chemical causing many people to have rashes, bleeding, even swelling faces. Remembered the family member had inexplicably swollen hands episode. Checked the wipes we had and other products like body wash and shampoo. After I searched out wipes that did not have this, the rash has gradually healed and faded. I'm sold. Now when I look for a new shampoo for me, I won't buy any with this additive.
