A faux leather jacket I puchased literally fell apart with the faux part falling off after 1 year of sporadic wear at most. I will not buy faux leather again unless I intend to throw it away after a year. I really hope that better faux leather will be in our future. I understand what you are saying. Leather is like real fur. As far as I know a good faux version has not yet been made . Educate me if I am wrong..
