I am continuing my very slow wardrobe editing and I need repeated reminders for focus, versatility, non- imaginary.<br /> Most of it relates to work wardrobe because that gets over- expanded as I feel “ justified “, but in general having things that aren’t getting enough wears for the space they occupy. </p> <p>So:<br /> Jamie- Lee of Mademoiselle with her work wardrobe posts and videos. Sort of paradoxically, because she can be a walking advertisement for Everlane or other brands. For me it’s that she shows a lot of neutral basics( many of which I couldn’t actually wear in that exact iteration) and combinations that help me think about keeping my “ best” most loved gray sweaters, black pants etc and remixing, and seeing which things depart from the looks I want. </p> <p>Next is Alyssa Beltempo who does examples of creating outfits based on an inspirational photo. These are much like the YLF challenges. I like how she reminds one to think about the outfit vibe as a whole and not whether she has the exact pieces. Angie also gives “ substitution” ideas.
