I don’t think so. I’d much rather keep up the pressure *and* seek to reward companies with our purchases when they make the right moves—even if it isn’t “heartfelt”. The opposite side of this, of course, is that there are plenty of bleeding heart anti-racists or what have you with good intentions who wind up acting directly against their stated values.
