				<description>&#060;p&#062;I agree, definitely speak with Customer Service. Make sure to keep records of everything you have spent on the shoes, as well as the pictures. I once bought a pair of Steve Maddens from Robinsons May and wore them out one night and ended up with not just blistered, but cut up feet. Robsinsons would not accept them as a return because they'd been worn and there was no &#034;apparent&#034; defect, but they encouraged me to contact Steve Madden. I did so, and they were incredibly helpful. They'd had other problems with the style, and it is possible that you aren't the only one with the color inconsistency. The company sent me a gift certificate for the full price of the shoes and paid for me to send them to the company. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Doc Marten is probably a company that has a lot of loyal customers and they don't want to lost them!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Thanks ladies.  I sent an email to customer service with a link to the photos and I asked them specifically to pay for return shipping, pay shipping on a replacement pair, and credit my account for the amount I paid in taxes and processing fees (since I'll have to pay that amount again on the new pair).  We'll see what happens.  If I don't hear from them soon I'll call customer service.  Sometimes it's easier to type things out than to try to explain on the phone (plus that way they can see the problem for themselves).

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Definitely return them, ask them for a return sticker so that they will pay the freight costs and get a full refund or a replacement pair.  I would call customer service and if the clerk does not offer  this as a solution(I can't imagine they won't), then talk to the customer service manager.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;That's a terrible situation.  I can see the difference in the pictures.  Will the company do something for you if you call them and tell them that the boots are mismatched?  I'd say give it a try.   It is amazing what can be done if you ask for the manager.&#060;br /&#062;

&#060;p&#062;The streaking and the contrast between the two toes is even more noticeable in person.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;What do I do?  Is this something that could be corrected with polish?  It would cost me at least $20 to return the boots, and then another $20 to have another pair shipped to me (International shipping and returns are not free with Shoebuy.com or anywhere else as far as I know).  In the end, I'd be out $60 in shipping fees.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I'm SO disappointed and upset.  I just feel sick.
