Lyn, we are on the same hunt. I will be on a trip for a couple of weeks then home long enough to place an order, probably for that AT version.

I think the poncho you are looking for will look more like a sweater when you see it in stores.
I saw this and others at Ann Taylor
http://www.anntaylor.com/luxe-.....cata000011
Some other brands:

My poncho (which I wore in my post WIW) is like a large knitted scarf of 58 inches long by 27 inches wide, when not sewn into a poncho. It is sewn at the top, after leaving a 15 inch hole (for the head to go through). I bought this as a poncho, however having seen how simple it is to convert a large scarf to a poncho, I have contemplated changing some of my larger scarves into ponchos. My poncho is not huge and is similar is size and look to the solid burgundy poncho of Angie's post in picture 3.

Dear Fabbers!
Many of you have similar ponchos like the one in the pictie, and Angie's blogpost (on the right). I'm looking to get one similar here, but no luck to date.
Plenty of ponchos here, too-but I just don't find this kind of poncho in my shops, or perhaps didn't recognize the right shape and size of it folded, on the hangers, neither from online picties till date.... So would like to ask for some help.
Can somebody explain me how the pattern looks like? Some measurements would be helpfull, too!

I know it's fussy to answer, but can somebody describe it better?
Thank you everybody, you are the best!:-)
