I like big squares that you can fold into a triangle and wear over your coat, loosely tying the ends in front. When it’s really cold, put the scarf on first, big point in front. Wrap the ends around you and put the coat on top; you’ll be warm and cozy, and will look good too. I have some velvet gloves that are furry at the wrist though and i find they compete with sleeves too much though. And if youre looking at furry stoles, longer works better, then they can be wrapped. Otherwise they just sit awkwardly from experience. If you live or work near any boutiques, theyre a good source for interesting accessories.
