I think it was the pockets that sold her. Today she was in a slightly scoop necked dress and she lamented it was too low. I had her wear leggings since it was an above the knee hem, which she feels uncomfortable in. Even the regular crew neck tops she has she's complained have stretched out. That was looking at dress 1 obviously as the first pic. You look great in both. I am with J'Aileen in thinking dress 2 looks more modern somehow. And with Jenn that it looks better with those shoes. Dress 1 is gorgeous also though so if your heart leans you towards that one, there is your answer. I also think dress 1 will be better with what your daughter ( gorgeous too! ) is wearing. Otherwise I think she may end up looking more demure than her mother which is probably not a thought you want people to have at a church event. Just my gut feeling from my very churchy background now left behind since age 47.
