Hi Emily, I have these problems with some of my pants too, because I am an hourglass shape

Sometimes buying a bigger size helps. But sometimes it does not help because the placement of the pockets on my hips means the inside of the pocket will always show no matter what size.

Perhaps you could take these pants to a tailor and get their opinion. They could tell you if they can simply alter the pants you already have, or if you should buy bigger pants for the tailor to make smaller. The tailor can tell you if they can alter the pockets while still making the pants look like everyone ele's pockets. They should be able to tell you the price and then you can decide if it is worth it.

I also get more creases in my pants due to my shape, I have a high waist. Sometimes I iron my clothes in between washes. Mostly though, I just don't care- I hate ironing!

If a tailor is too expensive or too much trouble, then maybe you should stop listening to the people who tease you- they are being mean. Buy a fantastic dress instead and 'wow' them with how great you look on the weekend! Or go to a hairdresser or wear jewellery that make people look at your face instead of your hips!

If your pockets are pulling a little bit open when you stand, then the pants are probably just a bit too small across the hips. I would try the next size up. You can always have the waist taken in (made smaller) if the next size up is too big in the waist.

yeah, i usually sit more wearing that pants. Early morning at 9 classes starts and ends at 4 PM evening. I wear the same pants for about 3 days continuously without washing. I goes and return in bicycle. That may be a reason. 2 kms I ride everyday. My teacher warned me from putting hands inside pockets in class. That's why I asked about it mam.
Its pocket is white and while I just bend or sit the inside cloth gets expose and my friends laugh at me. Is that a embarrassment mam? It is large pocket that reach almost above knees.

Nothing wrong with using pockets :) And I don't see why it should affect creases more. I suspect sitting is more likely to cause it, but it does sound like you're just unlucky with the fabric. A fabric blend with a bit of polyester and lycra is probably less likely to crease. Natural fibres such as cotton, linen and viscose may crease more easily.

Hmm, its could be that the fabric just creases really easily, but would wearing a looser fit in the next size up help?

I am an Engineering student and in our college the uniform is blue pants and shirt. The pants I wore is almost mix cotton and is too tight stitched. Now the problem is the wrinkles around crotch regions and pockets which on ironing goes off. But, soon after wearing it re-forms. My friends are making fun of it. Is this a problem? Should I ignore it? Please help me with a genuine answer.
