My son and his two friends were way ahead of us the whole hike, talking about basketball and girls. Then they ran around the lake and up a little peak just because they are young and can do it.</p> <p>My son and I talked about the Pokemon Go craze, and he is torn - he understands my perspective (people walking around staring at their phones instead of the real world around them) but he also wants to do what everyone else is doing. I feel like I only have a certain window of time to instill a love of nature and wildness into his soul. My nephew was here from NY, the weather was perfect and I had the week off! We played hard and the two of them still were not worn out. Here are some pics from time at our cabin, plus hiking (the one to the lake a pretty hard 10 miles), playing at the river, and camping in the yard. I am TIRED! I always forget how I live in gear in summer! </p>
