I really like your approach of creating multiple overlapping capsules for a season -- i.e., this capsule includes some of the same items as your pumpkin spice capsule. This really homes in on how you will actually wear the pieces in outfits and framing it this way lends a sense of variety to dressing, while being efficient about item numbers. And yes, I have a lot of new things from NAS this year (I think it was my best NAS ever). It's nice to have an influx of new pieces to freshen things up. Staysfit - I enjoy creating capsules and since I am strongly on team blue, I have a blue capsule for every season. This one was fun to create.  cat2 - I like your approach to mix it up monthly with a capsule. And tan, burgundy, and navy in summer weight pieces sounds lovely for fall. We start our fall season hot, that would work quite well in my area. kellygirl - You make a great point. Often when I see wardrobe capsules, they do look a little boring. I think it's because they are often in the context of minimal style or the creator just puts a capsule together of all basics to be mixed and matched. I prefer a capsule like this one with a variety of prints instead.  Janet - Thank you for the kind words and for looking! Angie - I hadn't thought about it, but indeed there is a wide variety of patterns in this capsule. I think this capsule will work very well for fall. Now I just need the weather to catch up! And I’m with Staysfit on liking more variety in the individual pieces. My alternative to planning so well is to set a color story for each month and then at the beginning of the month pull everything seasonally appropriate in those colors onto a closet rail together and build outfits from there. I flag for my shopping list if trying to pull things together over the course of a month yields a wardrobe hole. I am currently working with tan, navy and burgundy summer weight pieces. I stuck to a few of the same rules as the Zella Pumpkin Spice capsule (outfits that layer for cool mornings and hot days, temps 60-80F, casual WFH outfits). I want to create capsules with sweaters but that kind of weather is a few months away so I stayed focused on lightweight tops that can be layered with tee's for now. #1 - NAS in Blue and Pink Instead of starting with thetops, this time I took a different approach to creating this capsule and started with my newest NAS purchases in pink and blue.  The items here include: <ul> <li>Caslon Cotton Blend Joggers in Navy Blazer</li> <li>Zella Live in Pocket Joggers in Navy Sapphire</li> <li>Caslon Relaxed Knit Blazer in Navy Blazer</li> <li>Zella Kickback Ottoman Tunic in Pink Violet</li> <li>Caslon Stretch Cotton Blend V-Neck Tee in Navy Blazer, Navy Blazer - White Stripe, and Blue Lake</li> <li>Caslon Pleat Back Long Sleeve Rib Top in Blue Lake</li> <li>Caslon Crewneck Long Sleeve Tee in White and Ivory - Navy Blazer Stripe</li> </ul> #2 - Blue Plaid Shirts with Blue Caslon Joggers Then I pulled all my plaid shirts and a pretty blue and pink top I recently purchased. I paired everything with the Caslon Cotton Blend first Joggers. I have plenty of outfit options for these joggers now. The sneakers are Adidas, the plaid shirts are Rails, and the top is Caslon. All are in the finds below. #3 - Zella Outfits No WFH capsule for me is complete without a few Zella joggers outfits. All the tees work with the Zella Live in Pocket Joggers and the pretty Zella Kickback Ottoman Tunic in Pink Violet. #4 - New Additions in Green and Vintage Brunette This capsule was looking a bit dark and didn't feel enough like fall to me, so I added a few more items for more color and variety to this capsule. The items here include: <ul> <li>Paige Brooklyn High Waist Crop Jeans in Vintage Brunette</li> <li>Wide Leg Pants from TJMaxx. The Caslon <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.nordstrom.com/s/ultra-high-waist-patch-pocket-wide-leg-pants/7738004?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&breadcrumb=Home%2FAll%20Results&color=401">Ultra High Waist Patch Pocket Wide Leg Pants</a> I put in the finds are very similar.</li> <li>Another pair of Zella Live in Joggers in Navy Nightfall</li> <li>Universal Thread V-neck Tee from Target in a Rusty/Brownish color (don't know what the color is really called)</li> <li>WHBM Jacket, Pants, and Top all in Olive</li> </ul> #5 - Navy Wide Leg Pants with Simple Tops Here's the wide leg pants with the Universal Thread tee and the Caslon Pleat Back Long Sleeve Rib Top in Blue Lake. One item not shown in the outfit photos is a pair of sneakers I have on order from <a rel="nofollow" href="https://www.nordstrom.com/s/ilse-jacobsen-tulip-sneaker-women/7156698?origin=keywordsearch-personalizedsort&breadcrumb=Home%2FAll%20Results&color=001">Ilse Jacobsen Tulip Sneaker in Dark Indigo.</a> I previously tried them on in the store and need a larger size. I am super excited for the sneakers to arrive. I think they will fit seamlessly into this capsule. #6 - Vintage Brunette Jeans with Tops These Brooklyn High Waist Crop Jeans in Vintage Brunette are also in my <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/planning-for-fall-zella-pumpkin-spice-long#post-2369133">Zella Pumpkin Spice Capsule</a>. They paired well with most of the plaid shirts and tees. With these jeans finding a place in both capsules, I am prepared for them to become a workhorse this fall. #7 - Wide Leg Pants with Columns of Color Out of all the combinations in this capsule, I think these are the outfits I'm most excited to try. I like dressing in a column of color. Here I can do a column with the navy tee and the navy wide leg pants. I also have an interesting colorblock combination of olive green jacket and top with the navy pants on the bottom. The Ilse Jacobsen Tulip Sneakers in Dark Indigo will work well for these outfits too. I'm ready for fall, I just need the weather to catch up now. Today I was wearing shorts because it was over 80F!  Thanks for looking!
