I've been wanting to get my extensions put back in and dye the whole mop lavender. For now, I'm having to live with the brassiness my hair acquires from the water around here. Thank heaven Jade is as good as she is; my hair hasn't been cut in almost a year and it still looks amazing when I take the time to do something to it beyond a ponytail to keep it out of my face at work.</p> <p>I've also had to buy some more cheap pants specifically for work. I don't know how often I'll be able to go to the laundromat with the insanity at work. Everybody is required to work 6 days a week, and for now I'm going along with it. I may be playing my Americans with Disabilities Act card soon and have my doctor order a leave of absence because of my lung condition. I really should be sheltering in place, but I'm not ready to be that isolated yet. </p> <p>Back to the pants. They relaxed the dress code at work. We can now wear jeans with any company approved shirt, so I bought a few cheap pairs that I won't mind ruining. Specifically, I’m thinking about haircuts. &nbsp;My hair is currently styled in a short, asymmetrical bob, and is quite thick. &nbsp;I get it cut about every six weeks, otherwise I quickly look like a misshapen mushroom.</p> <p>At my disposal are the dog grooming tools for our Yorkie mix. My husband regularly clips the the dog’s nether regions and around his eyes. My husband’s hands have a slight tremor. &nbsp;Maybe I need to find another option?</p> <p>What style compromises/dilemmas are you considering? (Please understand I know the seriousness of what we’re facing, I’m just attempting to be a little light hearted while it’s possible.)</p> <p> </p>
