The chicken goes really well with the plaid... like a fashion accessory! Great versions both, the jacket looks good.

I think just right. A little oversized on jackets is in again! Celebrate it with a chicken!

Sorry that turned into a post and run!

Angie: Thanks! And I'm glad to have your opinion on the fit.

Minimalist: The chickens and I are wearing the same colors! The boots were actually a TJ Maxx score last fall. They are by Franco Sarto.

Mirjana: Thanks for weighing in on the fit!

RobinF: My eyes hadn't adjusted to cropped jeans and boots last year, but this fall I am branching out.

Chris29: I love my little crossbody! It is sadly on its last leg.

Kkards: Thanks, and what an interesting link!

Janet: Good point about the fit. You always look great in your jackets, so thanks for weighing in.

That is a happy plaid! Perfect casual outfit. The blazer fit looks fine to me. It's not a terribly fitted cut, so I think you're good to go.

fab....and apparently wearing a sweater around your waist is the fashionable way to wear them this season
http://www.lecatch.com/2016/10.....yling.html

I love you in picture1. The cross body bag really adds a nice fashion touch without looking like you're trying too hard.

I am a big fan of happy plaids and they suit my casual lifestyle. Version 1 is a super-casual outfit that I wore while visiting some farms with a friend. Wore with slip on sneakers and an oversized sweater (around waist because it got hot). This photo was taken to send to my husband as a threat to bring home live chickens. You never know with me.

Version 2 is the dressed up with pearls and cropped pants ensemble Angie suggested. The pearls are kind of hard to see. They belonged to my Great aunt, so they have sentimental value.

Question is about the fit of this blazer. I've lost weight since buying it last winter. Just flattering enough or just too big?
