As others have also remarked they stretched out and the pattern completely faded on the knees . I wore them regularly and sadly found after about 10-12 wears that the plaid pattern on the knees and seat completely wore away. I returned them and ended up purchasing a different style - the Mia, which is straighter and less legging-like, higher waisted and a slightly more woven material (as opposed to ponte) though still stretchy. I will say thought that mine wore out in the year. The pattern around the knee area noticeably faded out. I washed in delicate and never dried in dryer.
