They range from lightweight spring toppers to wool wintry ones, and span lengths from cropped to long. I really enjoy them for variety and colorful or textural accents to otherwise neutral and/or solid outfits. As I’ve gravitated away from defaulting to solid black coats (although I still own a couple), I have enjoyed these more and more.</p> <p>I am choosy about color palettes — they tend to be tight as is my wardrobe palette. But many of the picks in Angie’s post today appealed to me, and I find myself very tempted by some of those options (burgundy! teal!), even though I clearly do not need more. LOL</p> <p>The first Find was my most recent purchase - I got it at Anthro a couple of months ago and it’s not heavy, but it is roomy and I like a light coat that I can layer underneath. I’ve worn it twice since I returned from Europe and it’s cold and snowing right now, but I expect it will get more love on our milder days.</p> <p>Who else loves plaid outerwear and has a piece…or half a dozen? </p>
