I know I'd look dreadful as a blonde. My highlights are not blonde; they're just a little lighter than my natural brown color, so it looks natural. My advice to you is that unless you're willing to go gung ho, you might want to start out with highlights before deciding to go blonde. The reason I ask is because while my hair is fine, it sticks straight up when cut too short on top. Also, I find pixie cuts to be high maintenance, believe it or not. If I were you, I'd ask a very trusted hairdresser for advice before you get this cut. Make sure it will work with your hair. I learned the hard way!
