I agree with RoseandJoan and some others who said they like the contrast of the over the top stuff with a simpler outfit. </p> <p>I do think BR's jewelery is of outstanding quality. PW and YLF are the only two blogs that I go to religiously every day. She does seem to have a huge following, as Ele states. She usually has give- aways once a week and sometimes she gets upwards of 35,000 comments on those posts! </p> <p>Ele, I hope you get your copy of her cookbook! I love reading about the meals she serves up on the ranch and her mouth-watering, step-by-step photographs are beautiful. She has a massive following, Angie- up there with Dooce in the popularity stakes. Yup, her husband is a meat rancher, and they have an incredible house/ranch. In fact, they have a completely *separate* house just for her to have food parties- various popular food bloggers will go and visit her, do cooking demonstrations, host parties, etc. </p> <p>She wrote a cookbook this year, which I was supposed to be sent a copy of to review. Her publisher contacted in October, but I never received the book Perhaps they sent it surface mail.</p> <p>Anyway, I also love BR jewelry. She's a city girl who married a cattle rancher and lives on a ranch in Oklahoma with her husband (Marlboro Man) and four children. Love her "confessions" of life on the ranch and her recipes are wonderful. She is currently on tour promoting her first cookbook. Check it out!</p> <p>As for the jewelry, I'm seeing a lot of mixed metal necklaces and bracelets this season. I'm curious as to what you all think of this - yay or nay? </p>
