Bella- Thanks so much! I've been working hard on them this year, and have plans for even more improvements in the next couple months.

San, I've got three blogs- they are:
Kitchenist
Kitchenisms
Kitchlit

Not sure why they don't show up next to my name as "website", like others' do. Probably because I've got three- hmm, maybe I'll remove all but the main one.

I've just now heard of Pioneer Woman. I'll be checking that one out too.

I love Banana, it is probably my first stop whenever I shop for something 'nice'.
But....I'm not completely sold on some of their jewelery this season. some of it is just so heavy! I agree with RoseandJoan and some others who said they like the contrast of the over the top stuff with a simpler outfit.

I do think BR's jewelery is of outstanding quality. They should get more recognition for that.

Speaking blog's, Ele, I really enjoyed reading yours and added it to my google reader!

It is a beautiful blog, Angie, and her photography is amazing. PW and YLF are the only two blogs that I go to religiously every day. She does seem to have a huge following, as Ele states. She usually has give- aways once a week and sometimes she gets upwards of 35,000 comments on those posts!

Ele, I hope you get your copy of her cookbook! I love reading about the meals she serves up on the ranch and her mouth-watering, step-by-step photographs are beautiful. I didn't know that about the two houses - wow!

Oh, the PW is huge! She has a massive following, Angie- up there with Dooce in the popularity stakes. Yup, her husband is a meat rancher, and they have an incredible house/ranch. In fact, they have a completely *separate* house just for her to have food parties- various popular food bloggers will go and visit her, do cooking demonstrations, host parties, etc.

She wrote a cookbook this year, which I was supposed to be sent a copy of to review. Her publisher contacted in October, but I never received the book Perhaps they sent it surface mail.

Anyway, I also love BR jewelry. I've never bought any, but love to oogle it in the shop- I think it's one of their strengths as a brand.

Her blog is beautiful, Debora! And BR costume jewelry *is* outstanding. The Pioneer Woman seems to have an unbelievable following :0)

quick quezzie: do they breed cows on a ranch to sell for meat?

Angie was not the only person to blog on Banana Republic jewelry today Is anyone familiar with the Pioneer Woman blog?

http://thepioneerwoman.com/

Here's her take on BR jewelry:

http://thepioneerwoman.com/homeandgarden/

I just discovered this blog a few weeks ago and have become addicted. She's a city girl who married a cattle rancher and lives on a ranch in Oklahoma with her husband (Marlboro Man) and four children. Love her "confessions" of life on the ranch and her recipes are wonderful. She is currently on tour promoting her first cookbook. Check it out!

As for the jewelry, I'm seeing a lot of mixed metal necklaces and bracelets this season. I'm curious as to what you all think of this - yay or nay?
