I'm not quite ready to try the plaid and stripes without a solid color to break it up, so here is my version.&nbsp;</p> <p>My choice of navy tops is limited, so I wore this navy sweater. For the pattern mixing, I wore my blue and white&nbsp;apple print shirt. In retrospect, I should have tried my red booties - I'll do that next time.&nbsp;</p> <p>I think these ankle pants fall in between the two lengths Angie wrote about. I also think I lengthened the leg line because the booties and pant legs just barely meet.</p> <p>So how'd I do? It would be fun to try this look with a navy blazer and striped shirt.
