I have this model (picture 1). I have wide feet and the first day I wore them, they were torture for my pinky toe. I sprayed some special foam on them and wore them straight away for a while and now they are nice for a short while, but not 12 hour shoes. I guess Astrid is right and they are not meant for the really wide of feet.
I recently bought a pair of Timberland sandals that I can walk all around town, quite a different style (picture 2).

I was recently eyeing some Pikolinos too, but I it seems like they are better for narrow feet, from what I read. For those who have a pair, is that true?

I will also say that I tried these:

http://www.zappos.com/product/.....cTest=fw:1

and they were NOT comfortable - they cut into my ankle bone at the top.

Hi Traci, I had these very shoes on my feet at my house. They were very comfortable. In the end, I decided to return them, because the higher vamp is hard for me to wear in a non-leg-shortening way (I'm 5'1", and have pretty "stumpy" legs"). If they'd come in a nude, I would have kept them. I was also worried that the gorgeous tealy color wouldn't work with all the summer tops I'd just purchased. Anyway, I think they're gorgeous, and they were SUPER comfy. I wish I could have kept them.

I have a few clients in these exact shoes. They love them. It's a great Seattle sandal. The quality is lovely. I hope that they don't pinch your pinky toe.

I have three pairs of Pikolinos: two pairs of flats and a pair of booties. Love them all. The oldest pair is four years old now, worn several times a week every summer. They're still looking great. On my feet, all Pikolinos require two-three days of breaking in, but after that they are like slippers. My lifestyle (walking or biking to work, walking all around town) requires very comfortable and durable shoes, and Pikolinos are all that and cute too!

I had excellent experience with Pikolinos. Not sandals, but a pair of mules. Extremely comfortable, well-made, and didn't fall off my narrow feet. They held up well over several years. I gave them away because my style changed and I found myself not wearing them anymore, but they were still in fine shape when I let them go.

After my painful trip to the mall in my clarks sandals, I've been on the prowl for a pair of uber comfy and moderately stylish sandals for every day wear.

I have the Dansko sissies, and they do well in the footbed, but the lack of support and hold leaves my ankle sore after a day of heavy walking. My beloved Clarks are very supportive, but they rub and pinch at my pinkie toes. The Clarks are usually fine for a day or two, it's more if I try to wear them day after day that I start to feel the pain.

I'm thinking about this pair.
http://www.zappos.com/pikolino.....cTest=fw:1
I really like the turquoise color (the picture seems to show much darker than rl) but may have to settle for the tan since turquoise is out of stock in my size everywhere.

Have you had a pair? How did they wear?
