I have wide feet and the first day I wore them, they were torture for my pinky toe. I sprayed some special foam on them and wore them straight away for a while and now they are nice for a short while, but not 12 hour shoes. They were very comfortable. In the end, I decided to return them, because the higher vamp is hard for me to wear in a non-leg-shortening way (I'm 5'1", and have pretty "stumpy" legs"). If they'd come in a nude, I would have kept them. I was also worried that the gorgeous tealy color wouldn't work with all the summer tops I'd just purchased. Anyway, I think they're gorgeous, and they were SUPER comfy. Love them all. The oldest pair is four years old now, worn several times a week every summer. They're still looking great. On my feet, all Pikolinos require two-three days of breaking in, but after that they are like slippers. Not sandals, but a pair of mules. Extremely comfortable, well-made, and didn't fall off my narrow feet. They held up well over several years. My beloved Clarks are very supportive, but they rub and pinch at my pinkie toes.
