I felt my foot was a bit to wide for the shoe. I absolutely love gladiator sandals, but might have to admire them on others. My feet are worn out from all my years in construction and the motion that bothers me most is the flexing of the foot while walking. For that reason I need shoes that are not very flexible. I think the brulees look fine too but you seem happy with the Dansko's. I actually saw the Dansko's online a while back in the bright red and they really caught my eye. I want to skip and dance around.<br /> I still have not located them in orange. Nordstrom's, in store, had a red patent leather that was a real tomatoey color. The online store has crinkle patent red. No orange. I am intersted to see what they look like. I think that they might not be the BEST style for your feet. I think that you can get away with a chunkier, more substantial sandal. I think it's because I like a sandal to show a bit more toe, and the toe box of the Brulees is so forward and narrow, the effect is almost like a peep-toe. They were pretty but out of my size. Maybe I should order them online. I was afraid the patent wouldn't be as comfortable, but these do not fit tight, being clogs, so I could give them a try. </p>
