I found the brand on Amazon. I am not familiar with the brand, up when researching found this as one of the top rated best sellers. With a great and easy return policy (and armed with an Amazon gift card from Christmas), I was brave enough to venture into a brand unknown. So far, I am satisfied. The coat has not had to withstand the ultimate in Maine weather yet. The whole outfit looks perfect for Maine. When I was teaching I had a long coat with a huge furry hood. It was great for playground duty. I could put that hood up and turn my back to the wind and not worry about the cold air going down my neck. The fact that it is big enough to layer under is a plus. I don’t think the hood will annoy me. The fur is pretty hefty and removable. Cream is definitely on my radar. Today will be a good test for the elements, but not the temps. The temps will be in the high 20s to high 30s. I am also considering a cream coat in wool.....a totally different look and it might be dressier, which would limit wear. So much to think about!<br /> Jessiekams, I am really happy with the length! I do have a longer, heavier puffer and also a shorter puffer jacket.
