There's nothing dark or plain about them. I love how the light picks up all the different shades and the turquoisie bits are incredible. You are all so nice!</p> <p>LoP, I have not been noticing a trend towards larger frames. But I think there is a lot to consider:</p> <p>-As an ophthalmic assistant's daughter, I know more than I really should about how glasses affect the prescription. The larger the frame, the more distortion in the lenses. Lenses that are small and close to the eye do not curve as much. </p> <p>-With glasses more than anything, I think it's important to simply work with what is flattering on you and not think about anything else. I mean, they are sitting RIGHT on top of your face. They will be what most people notice first about you. Even now I see so many girls wearing huge oversized sunglasses who are too small to pull them off! I happen to like them for myself because I have large features and I think sunglasses should cover a larger area keep the eyes protected. But they certainly aren't for everyone and it took me a long time to find a pair that looked decent on me. Until then, I just stuck with my small frames.</p> <p>I can't honestly imagine that most people are going to be flattered by large frames. Being larger means they will come down further and hit the cheek, which is just NOT flattering. There is also going to be too much space around the eyes, making them look small and far apart. My son broke my favorite pair, so I'm thinking of either getting it fixed or looking for a new one.
