Hubs LOVES those. He called my old ones “granny glasses” so I guess I now know how he felt about those, LOL.</p> <p>Oh Rachy, you’re too late — did you see the story of WHY I needed new glasses? The old wire frames were SO lightweight and minimal that they got lost on the street in NYC (admittedly after an amazing wine-soaked meal at Le Bernardin), and consequently destroyed. So this pair is actually a lot more visible, and more importantly, audible if dropped. I’m wind blown after a day of running all around, and I didn’t really do eye makeup today, so you’re seeing the “natural look,” haha! </p> <p>They’re a big departure from my old glasses, and they’re an unusual shape, but I really like them. The light was bright so pics a little overexposed, but you get the gist. </p> <p>The sunglasses are perhaps frivolous — I have one other everyday pair I love, plus a special vintage pair that are quite delicate, and an old spare pair. But I couldn’t resist the gorgeous green pattern. Too fun! </p>
