I've never been really sporty besides the occasional run or trip to the gym in recent years. When I was young, I made a point of being un-sporty (stupid). I suppose the mix of dressy and casual in this style is so right for my lifestyle and climate, which makes it easy to wear. The dress is hopefully a versatile buy, and I plan to wear it with layers and tights now, and sandals later. Be careful what you wish for! So, here I am, with a quite different interpretation of "Young Girl Reading a Book on the Beach".&nbsp;</p> <p>Today I'm emphasizing the beach part a bit more. The different blues are the sea and sky, and the beiges, greens, pale pink&nbsp;and warm grey is the sand and the colors of her skin. I'm still aiming for smooth and rough textures in today's version.</p> <p>My outfit:&nbsp;</p> <p><div>The sky: Blue chambray dress (even color, ink blue, smooth) This is a new dress from COS.<br />The sea: Denim jacket (shifts between lighter and darker blue, hints of brown) Old, H&amp;M<br />The sand: Stone/beige trench (black buttons), shiny warm grey semi-opaque tights (it is March in Norway, after all), watercolor silk scarf. Old BR trench.<br />The book: Adidas suede sneakers, black with white stripes. Last year. </p> <p>I am very curious to know what you think. All and any comments are of course welcome.
