And you know what, I actually think that the "boring" cardi is the best possible touch. There is a lot more neutral in the painting than one would think, because it reads as so colorful. But really, having enough of a neutral expanse highlights the vibrant colors and allows them to shine. A summer dress seems appropriate and fun today for the wonderful sunshine. We had snow on the ground only last week. Since it is supposed to snow again this week, I grabbed my chance to pretend it's summer. I do need the boring cardi for indoors though! The dress has all of the colors of the painting in it. It has reminded me of Picasso color combos before. </p>
