You might be an hourglass, but the baggy jeans make you look a bit pretty pear to me. If that is the case the A line would be my suggestion. I see what Susan's seeing. I'll be interested to see what the body type experts say.</p> <p>I think an a-line in the fabric you described would be nice. You could dress it up and dress it down and it would give you a bit more ability to move around. Not sure if that's a consideration for you. I had to take the picture while I was thinking about it.</p> <p>I believe I'm a hourglass with a prominent shoulder because the circumfrence of my shoulders is 2 inches bigger than my hip measurement.</p> <p>Also, I sew &#38; I recently bought some great white &#38; brown tweed fabric that has a nice drape to make a skirt &#38; a waistcoat/vest (not to wear together). I'm trying to decide between a pencil skirt &#38; an A-line skirt. What do you all think? Dh votes pencil because it seems to match the formality of the fabric better, but I'm kind of leaning towards an A-line skirt.</p> <p>Thanks!! </p>
