I think it looks that way in the pics because of how the strap is attached to the top of the shoe. I ordered them in two sizes and was somewhat undecided about which fit best so I decided to snap some photos and compare them that way. I often do that when trying on clothes, and often when I look at the photos it becomes either a clear “yea” or “nay,” so I decided to try this technique with these shoes.</p> <p>In this case, I think the pics show the 9’s are a bit too wide, maybe too big overall. I think the 8.5’s look pretty close to perfect. What do you think?</p> <p>FYI- 9 is my usual size in regular width shoes, 8.5 is my usual size in narrow width shoes (these shoes are narrow width). This is the tan color and I’ve already ordered a second pair in gold. </p>
