Great to see your outfits, Sterling.

The outfits you appointed stars to are my faves because they look the most fashionable. The tops are also more interesting than T-shirts, and you pulled the look together with belt and necklace.

I love your white jeans. You look streamlined and gorgeous in them. Try pairing them with tops that aren't T-shirts or too short button-down shirts. (Yes, the lilac shirt's fit is off as you predicted).

Try finishing off #3 with a belt and pearls (chambray shirt with white).

These post are awesome. I tend to wear the same pants and differen toppers. The white denim looks great. My favorites are the work looks.

Sterling -- I really like your outfits this week -- all of them work well. And I agree that the high contrast outfits look particularly great on you. You look amazing in the white jeans. [You do not look "fat" in any shot -- I think there is just a subtle difference in the way you are standing and the angle of the photo.] I agree with Diane that the button down in question (6/1) seems to be a good fit and an OK length. I think it would read "too short" if it had a straight hem. But the curved hem (what I call a "smile hem") is flattering on you and the color is, indeed, very pretty. I would lean toward keeping it. And I very much like the chambray shirt as you are wearing it -- semi-tucked with white jeans. I think that is a great summer casual look. I love the new denim pencil skirt you have ordered and will be excited to see how you style it.

We can see your feet!
I'm with you on wearing braclets in summer. In colder weather they can be awkward with coat and jacket sleeves. I also like them to add interest to a simple summer outfit when a necklace or scarf seems too hot.
My favorites of your outfits are the ones that show your shoes. I think the buttondowns shown look great. Is the 6/2 outfit enough contrast for your happiness factor? The yellow bag looks fab with it.

You look great! Both pair of white jeans look excellent on you.

You seem to be making lots of discoveries as you go, as well. I also like the high contrast and remain amazed that you can wear white jeans for cleaning/ errands! Having said that, I was out in the garden in mine a couple of days ago. Once you get hooked on wearing white, it never seems to end!

The top in pic 4 might be a bit short for wearing with pants. Could be tucked in to a skirt. But yes, fits have changed some over time. A well tailored shirt is classic but even the classics get tweaked to work with the proportions of newer bottoms.

Is it the rise that makes you think the second white pair makes you 'look fat'? I think you look the same, aka, perfect! :-)

The pink shirt does look too short to me. I way prefer the look of the yellow shirt with the rolled sleeves.

I also love Saturday's look. The necklace makes a difference.

I like the high-contrast black and white too.

I really like #5 the best. The button down looks really good on you and the pants are a nice fit. The shoes go well with the ensemble.

I think these are a great set of outfits! You look great in white jeans and I think the fits look fine. I actually don't mind the length of the shirt in the middle and I love the colour of it.

Re-opaque tees...I heard of this company via Not Dressed as Lamb website : https://yuniont.com/ They specialise in very good quality tees in substantial fabric. Sadly, it doesn't look like they ship to the US, but if you get tempted I could send stuff on to you...

The weather has warmed up considerably and wearing dark bottoms felt heavy. Hence, the experimentation wth white bottoms (oh, and I also bought a white denim skirt that will arrive late next week).

It is a LOT OF WHITE. Since white was spread over weekends and some work, it wasn't too much.

Here are my notes:
1. Still Prefer High Contrast (signature).
2. Do not like or feel fabulous in boxy or straight tops
3. Sleeveless tops and tee shirts continue to define summer uniform (signature)
4 Opaque white crew neck tee shirts continue to define summer casual uniform (signature). Finding opaque white tee shirts is nearly impossible. These tee shirts were purchased from the Gap in 2010.
5. Pearl earrings (signature)
6. Bracelets with sleeveless tops (signature). Evidently I only wear bracelets in the summer months. So this is new.
7. Belts with silver buckles (signature)
8. Toppers just too warm to be of any use.

Forum members commented that my button downs may be the wrong size?? This is quite possible. They are OLD. Fashion and bodies change. Are the button downs too short?? Too tight?? Donation?

I wore two different pairs of white jeans during the week (early versus late in the week). The jeans worn in later in the week seem to make me “look” fat. I don't see how this can be the case since they are the same size. One pair is a "bit" tighter. I might have been standing differently.

Have a great week everyone.
