Cropping really helps! Even if you have no timer and dim light (and a less res. camera). If you crop the extra stuff above your head and below your feet it makes the pic much larger and easier to see details.

Takes only a minute or two once you get the hang of it....

Alas,
I have no timer and the full length mirror is in the dimly lit hallway. Plus I take pics with a camera phone. However, I do try to include a few closeups.

CJH sorry I am guilty of the mirror pics! But I barely have time to snap even those. I haven't been able to figure out a good place to take timer pics, which would also be more time consuming. I do try to take close-ups of the details though!

I won't want to discourage any here from posting photos and lots of them, but I find that I am sorry I don't comment very often on what seem to be some nice outfits, because many of the photos taken in mirrors and not cropped are rather hard for me to see details on my computer.

What has worked for me is cropping and resizing my pics. Try downloading irfanview, free photo editing software, and learning how to crop photos and change the image size, which can resample also, making the image a bit sharper. Then we can enjoy each other's efforts and photos even more! Some camera software, or even Microsoft photo editor can do these same types of things. Thanks for listening.
