It doesn't seem overly dressy to me... the hardware and the quilting seem to keep it from going over the top dressy wise. And it doesn't appear overly shiny in this picture either. Not the same thing, but I showed my hubby a pair of really cute animal print shoes on line this morning and he was less than enthusiastic....
