Though I will say I have a VB sweater from years ago that fits really well (I think it shrank a bit from the original size but in this case it was for the best!).</p> <p>I've loved nice clothing my whole life, but I've always felt torn between beautiful designer clothing that rarely fits right vs. items from the big chains that fit, but not at all at the same level of quality or originality. Over the years it feels like petite options are only drying up, as sites like J. Crew offer fewer items in petites than they used to (why oh why don't you offer the Elena shirtdress in petite, J. Crew???), and some stores stop carrying petites altogether (Saks and Neimans, except for some lines that don't work for me. I don't look good in the Eileen Fisher aesthetic, either).</p> <p>It might not hurt to email VB and L'Agence and ask them to explore adding petites. I do that all the time when I find a designer I like who doesn't do petites. You never know. They have an iconic 3/4 ruched sleeve blazer that seems like it's worth a try. Very much the look and feel of VB. I have a friend who has this blazer who is very petite, and it's super cute. Oh, and I have one that's a little bit of a different style--a little on the shorter side but not as fitted. I'd think it could be tailored for a more fitted look.&nbsp;</p> <p>You might also look into Paige. I'm pretty sure thay have petite denim, but I'm not sure about their other clothes. I fell in love with a Paige blouse and Cinq a Sept pair of shorts on Saturday. Boden also has petite sizing. I've been happy with their shirts and blazers. I suppose the sleeves are too long on that blouse for you (and the shoulders might be too big), but if it's just the overall length, it would be a straightforward tailoring job to shorten it. I've gotten a number of shirts/blouses shortened over the years (and sleeves, too, in certain circumstances). Blazers/jackets are of course impossible to alter. Talbots (can't do finds) had a few similar but in woven linen (which I don't like), cotton, or with more detail like tie cuffs. Under her guidance we looked carefully at every brand they sold, which was a great experience. She had not been there in a while so some of the brands were new to her.</p> <p>I really liked Veronica Beard and L’Agence, especially their blazers and jackets, but neither brand makes petite sizes so nothing fit. </p> <p>Does anyone know of brands in similar styles/vibes that DO come in petite sizes? (Ok if they are not the same quality) . The only one I know of is DKNY which does have petites and very occasionally has pieces in a similar vibe. </p> <p>TIA. </p>
