I like the length and fit.

I prefer shorter tops with this vibe - like #3. And semi-tucking is a great idea because it shortens the body here.

I think the length is perfect.

I like how you styled outfit #1.

I agree that those sandals look great with the pants in option 2 &3.

I like outfit 2 the best. I am not an expert on wide leg crop length, but they look ok to me. Cute photo bombers:-)

I really love the look of the pants with those diagonally crossed sandals - stylishly abstract & geometric! I know you feel self conscious about tucking in your tops, but I think I spy a belt in that photo, right? You don't have to tuck your top in all the way, but you could try 'resting' the front side of it behind the belt buckle (so you get some more structure to the look without exposing the whole midsection).

Another clever trick I learnt from Wardrobe Oxygen is to try knotting your tops - think Britney Spears/ cowboy, but less extreme/ midriff-bearing & more of a side knot. It will help to create some structure whilst still being flattering because of the ruched material & because you can adjust the height as you wish. Allie pulls it off well, but I'm not sure if I can link outside blogs here?

I like that whole outfit on you, but the cardigan is just a smidge too long to my eye. If you really don't want to expose more of your midsection, a long necklace may help to balance out the look instead. Especially with the wide style of the cropped pants, a statement necklace or scarf may help to balance things out. Just my two cents, though

And don't worry about the photo bombing - it's also a big reason why it's taken me almost a week to update my own post with actual outfit photos (not just quick snaps in the office lift on the way to work). I'm sure people here understand, lol!

I think tucking or wearing short, more fitted tops is key. Outfit # 2! Love your helpers.

Julie, those are I find! I was at Gap today hoping to try some wide denim crops, but they were not on sale and would have been over $75, more than I was willing to pay to try them.
I like these and the way that you have styled them, especially in 2 and 3. The length takes some getting used to but it looks fine to me, if you want to add a little length, you could release the hem, but I like them as they are. Your photo bombers are adorable.

So, I found these at the gap for less than $20 and thought i would try them out for fun. They are "super high rise", which is perfect because i have a super long rise body. They feel like a good fit, very comfortable.

I have not figured out a great top yet, which may be difficult...due to the aforementioned freakishly long rise and a short waist, i never tuck in tops and am sensitive about tops being too short, so just don't have any shorter/boxy numbers. I was working on it when certain children took over, as you can see in the pics.

I wore them as in pic 1 today and loved how the wide-ness makes them comfortable to wear on a hot day. But the top felt a bit sloppy (fine for a day hiding in the office.)

Anyway, what do you all think of the length? They are the Angie-approved 4in above the ankle bone, but maybe a little short? Also any further suggestions for tops would be welcome! I think this might be easier with my fall knits.
