Of course. What you've described in my line of work. Have you tried doing a search?

Okay-I don't want a personal shopper! I guess I want someone to take me shopping who can give me a few pointers about fit, color, and ways to extend my wardrobe. I usually shop with my sisters but they won't give me the honest truth-we don't want to hurt one another's feelings, you know. I'm tired of just buying things. I want to build a wardrobe.

We live in a very rural area and don't get to shop very often, so when I get to a good mall, I go nuts and spend too much on random things I like but that don't necessarily work with other things. Or I get frustrated and don't buy anything. I need someone who knows the merchandise. Does that make sense?

Hmmm Susan, I'm flattered and sorry I can’t help out.

I’m not a personal shopper. I’m a fashion stylist. I will not shop for clients without them. They have to be present when we shop. It’s imperative that my clients learn with me as we embark on the transformation. Otherwise there’s chaos in the cupboard as soon as I’ve left. Personal shoppers shop without you. Is that what you’re looking for?

I am thinking about meeting with a personal shopper. I wish I lived near Seattle so I could get one on one help from Angie, but am closer to St. Louis by half the country. What is the protocol? How do you find a good one?
