Snow is forecast for the end of the week but the shops are advertising plants. I bought a silver citrine bracelet first, and while it is lightweight, I liked it and bought an amethyst one. Why not get one more? I got garnets. These were made in India. On a different day I had bought some silver earrings I showed you another day, and I also got some peridot earrings. I think these were made in Bali--I don't want to go through receipts now. These items are hand-made by artisans and supported through Novica of National Geographic.&nbsp;</p> <p>The peridot are fairly well matched, but cooler in color than other peridots I have. We bought the flower earrings at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco in a store near Maxwell Plum's. They must be from the '80s. Sadly both the restaurant and store are long gone. The peridot ring comes from our friend from the estate jeweler as almost a gift when we bought the amethyst necklace.&nbsp;</p> <p>I also include a tourmaline necklace bought at same store on a different date. Just wanted you to see and compare the colors.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm wearing my red velveteen Tahari jacket bought at NAS 2 1/2 or maybe 3 1/2 year ago. Disappointed that I haven't worn it much. Seems dressy to me, and now I'm not going anywhere to wear it this spring.</p> <p>Our C-D ## just spiked after looking like they might be beginning to level off. We have new, stricter orders from Santa Clara Co. There is now yellow tape across the entrance to the park across from our house. I'm relieved because the younger folks have been congregating there in spite of the rules. I was about to call the police on them last night. We'll see.</p> <p>OTOH, it's a beautiful warm day and I have two boxes/bags of bulbs we got at Costco about 3 weeks ago. </p> <p>*Added that the stone in the &nbsp;ring is a lemon citrine.</p>
