When the waitress at the restaurant told us about the race, we decided to walk around the area before heading home. In spring we get temperature swings of 25-30 degrees (Fahrenheit). Cold in the morning, warm and sunny in the afternoon, cold again when the sun goes down.</p> <p>The most consistent trend I'm seeing on women is that as soon as it's sunny and 70F, everyone is in ballet flats and full swishy skirts that hit just above the knee. Is that a thing? I think it looks silly. I thought longer skirts and higher vamps were supposed to be "in" now. </p> <p>Otherwise, lots of skinny jeans and leggings... and still lots of fleeces and light puffers. After eating, we walked around a while, and I took mental notes of what I saw:</p> <p>Most women in skinny pants or leggings, with tunics</p> <p>Boho vibe everywhere</p> <p>Only one girl dressed in '70s attire - form-fitting top with bell bottoms, wide belt and platform shoes</p> <p>2 women colored their eyebrows in a very noticeable and unflattering way</p> <p>I saw a man dressed in a chocolate brown suit, bright orange shirt and orange shoes - interesting </p>
